Inaugural Post
Today is 11/11/09. It just so happened that today I had the time to launch my site and I like today’s date. Parallel lines, as you see in the number eleven, have always had some visual appeal to me. Just the words “eleven, eleven” sound good to me –not really alliteration nor onomatopoeia, the sound is repetitious and musical and 11/11 has a bit of iconic value.
Onomatopoeia, incidentally, is Greek for “name I make” and that’s exactly what I hope to do here. Perhaps, one day, after reading my posts you will be listening to or reading something and say, “that’s just like Annie!”
I hope to surprise and enrich you with what I have to offer.
